Welcome
I am a psychotherapist licensed in California and Colorado, and also registered for telehealth in Florida. I completed my Master’s in Counseling at JFK University, with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology. My background includes immersion in various movement practices, and my academic research has explored the value of movement practice in developing imagination and empathy. I’m attentive to the ways emotional wounding can be reflected in our bodies, as well as through our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I offer traditional psychotherapy, sometimes weaving in creative practices such as sandplay, art, and somatic exploration.
I trained in Bay Area clinics and community settings before entering private practice. At California Pacific Medical Center I offered psychotherapy to chronically and terminally ill patients and their families and used expressive arts therapy with Alzheimer’s patients. Later I completed a clinical internship at San Francisco’s C. G. Jung Institute, where I trained in ‘depth’ approaches to psychological wellbeing. I’ve also worked with school children using talk and play therapies.
Currently I am in further training to become a Jungian analyst through the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco.
I offer a personalized way of working with your present life concerns, past experiences, and symbolic material such as dreams, fantasies, and symptoms. My focus is on helping you access the innate healing function of your imagination, finding your own unique resources and solutions in the process.
